This week was pretty friggin awesome for my bingo card and I’m so happy about it! I finished 2 books and I’m super duper proud of my progress. I finished my cover buy and my banned book, which is excellent. Now, what do I read next week and how do I keep up the momentum? Stay tuned, guys. I can’t wait to see how this week goes
How fun! Are you allowed to double up, or does an urban fantasy survival book only count as one space?

Each square only counts once, so that’s a bit of an added challenge. it definitely helps to diversify my reading list though! ☺

Uh, oh! You’re knockin’ em off, aren’t you?! You go, girl 🙂 Gosh, I haven’t done an update in forever, so I’ll have to get on that soon! I don’t have any many squares completed as you, though. Congrats! You’ll have that board filled before the end of February, I just know it! 😉

Haha thanks! It’s definitely hard to stick with it at times, but the card is helping me to stay motivated. Seeing all the daubed spaces really helps. 😀 I’d love to see your bingo update too!

The Red Badge of Courage was banned? I did not know that. Do you happen to know why? I love what you’ve read. I do need to diversify!

There’s apparently a 1987 New York Times article that attributes the ban to the use of curse words and vulgarity. So weird. I pasted the link below in case you’re curious 😀

amazing. and I don’t mean that in a good way (not you, but the banning). blurg. Thanks for giving me the link. It’s kind of frightening the reasons for banning books. We need an app to diffuse these naysayers. ha!

I know what you mean, the reasons for banning books and censorship in general are quite atrocious. This is part of the reason I love Fahrenheit 451 so, so much. It definitely helps me cope with such nonsense. 😍😍😍

Way to go. SO fun. I just finished the Language of Flowers, by Vanessa Diffenbaugh. It was amazing!!! It has nature on the cover.
